NerveGuard
NerveGuard, developed by Pajunk, is an automatic injection pressure‑limiting device designed to enhance safety during ultrasound‑guided regional anaesthesia. While ultrasound and nerve stimulation improve needle localisation, they do not fully eliminate the risk of intrafascicular injection or nerve injury caused by incorrect needle positioning or excessive injection pressure.
NerveGuard automatically limits injection pressure, providing immediate feedback and protection to support safer nerve block procedures and improved patient outcomes.
Automatic Injection Pressure Limiter
Why Choose NerveGuard?
Automatic Pressure Limitation
Automatically blocks injection when pressure exceeds 15 psi
Helps prevent excessive injection pressure associated with nerve injury
Increased Patient Safety
Designed to help prevent intrafascicular injections caused by high injection pressure
Supports protection against potential nerve damage during regional anaesthesia
Real‑Time Needle Position Feedback
Detects incorrect needle positioning, including fascia or nerve contact
Provides important information to support position correction before injection
No Monitoring Required
Functions automatically without visual or pressure monitoring
Does not require user interpretation during injection
Compatible with Ultrasound & Stimulation Guidance
Designed for use alongside ultrasound‑guided and nerve stimulation techniques
Adds an additional safety layer when dual guidance is used
